Children displaying their fishthemed art

Are you interested in working on a Board that pulls together to get things done, has efficient meetings, and understands the value of libraries? You might be a good candidate to be a Trustee-in-Training for the Board of Trustees for Whitefish Community Library.

Trustees-in-Training learn about the Library’s mission and Trustee responsibilities during their training and take over from a Trustee once their term has ended. Terms require a commitment for 5 years, not counting the training period. Applicants must reside within boundaries of the City of Whitefish and/or School District 44.

The Board meets most months of the year in the evening.

Interested citizens: please submit a letter of interest to serve as Trustee-in-Training on the above board mailed to: Attn. Library Director, Whitefish Community Library, 9 Spokane Ave., Whitefish, MT 59937 or send an email to marydrew@whitefishlibrary.org.

Our current application period ends Oct. 1, 2025. Interviews will be scheduled at an evening meeting in November. Thereafter, if vacancies still exist, letters of interest will be accepted until the position(s) are filled. If you have any questions, please call Mary Drew Powers, Library Director, at 406-862-9914.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST.
