REASON #1: TO ENTER THE CONTEST, OF COURSE!

Entries can register from 1:30 to 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 14th. Public viewing and voting from 2 – 2:30. Prize awards and feast at 3 p.m. (We’ll also be having a book sale during the event!) Here’s some examples of Edible Books (but we’re sure you can come up with something even better)!

LARD OF THE RINGS (Lord of the Rings by JRR Tolkien). Mountains of Lard with Onion Rings on top

JAWS by Peter Benchley. Watermelon carved to look like shark
