You may ask, “What is an Edible Book Festival?” At the Whitefish Community Library, participants create an edible representation of a literary work. It may be a straight interpretation, or be a pun (as in the shark’s fin with huckleberries on it that was an entry one year), or some other variation – it’s your chance to be creative!
Pre-registration on Eventbrite begins July 13 and is limited to 25. Pre-registration ends Friday, August 4 at noon. Preregister HERE.
Bring your entry to the library on Saturday, August 5th between 1:30 and 2 to complete registration and find your display area.
Public viewing and voting for “People’s Choice Award” is between 2 and 2:45.
At 2:45 we’ll announce entries’ awards and and hand out prizes to everyone. AND THEN WE’LL FEAST (yes, your entry will be eaten, that is one of the rules).
For now, feast your eyes on an edible version of “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.”
