Bring the Internet Home!

WCL cardholders can now bring the internet home thanks to a pilot program by the Montana State Library. Available for checkout are 4 Verizon Jetpack hotspots – devices that provide internet service when a cell tower is within range – and 2 iPad tablets. HP laptops from the State Library are on their way and will be available soon. Man using internet and tablet Here are some more details about the device lending program:

  • Patrons with a WCL library card in good standing can check out one or more devices for 14 days. Temporary cards are not eligible for this service.
  • Items MUST be returned to the Circulation desk inside the Library. Remember that you can call ahead (406-862-9914) or ring the doorbell for curbside service if you do not wish to enter the Library.
  • Borrowers will be required to sign a User Agreement Form before borrowing devices to make sure that all terms and conditions are understood (download example: WCL device user agreement).
  • Devices are non-holdable (cannot be reserved) and non-renewable.
