This story takes place in Manhattan called North River Heights and in Auggie’s new school. Auggie Pullman has a facial difference that has prevented him from going to school up to now. Auggie is in 5th grade and at a real school, not at home. All Auggie wants is to be treated like a normal kid. Because he does normal things.
Wonder is one of my favorite books. It shows that everyone is different and you should not judge people by how they look and everyone has a story and things going on in life. My favorite character in the book is Olivia Pullman because I can relate to her and she is really understanding because she has to be. This book is really good and funny in some parts. I really love this book and give it a 10/10. I think if you like a good family related book you should read it.
