I Survived the Attack of the Grizzlies cover art Attack of the Grizzlies is an action packed historical, adventure fiction book. It takes place in Glacier National Park in 1967.

Eleven year old Melody, and her younger brother Kevin. Melody was left by herself when a bear came behind her. She knew if she moved she would be dead but she had no other choice but to run. She ran to a tree to get away but the bear tried to shake her out so she jumped out of the tree and ran for the house where she thought she would be safe.

I liked how the book doesn’t talk about bears being monsters but we polluting ecosystems.
