WILD WINGS RECOVERY PROGRAM

October 4, 2014

Back by popular demand the Raptor Program presented by Wild Wings Recovery will once again be offered by the Whitefish Community Library in the main library rather than the Community Room. Program starts at 1:00. Doug MacCarter, Beth Watne and other volunteers with Montana Wild Wings Recovery Center will talk about owls of Montana. Montana Wild Wings is a center for animal rehabilitation and environmental education programs. The goal is to provide temporary care of the injured birds and then release them back into the wild. The owls used in their programs have been rehabilitated but cannot be released back into the wild.
