Whitefish Community Library will be offering curbside service to Whitefish patrons who hold a Whitefish Community Library card until such time that we are able to open to the public. There will be a limit of 10 items per person. This service will begin Friday, March 20, 2020.

The library will not be open to the public. However, we have set specific days and times for patrons to pick up their items: Monday 12-2pm, Wednesday 12-2pm and Friday 3-5pm. Staff will be available at those times and items may be picked up at the front entrance of the library.

There are two ways to place a hold on items for curbside pickup:

Patrons can go online to whitefishlibrary.org, click on the Montana Shared Catalog, enter their library card and PIN* and place their holds. If the items are on the shelf, staff will pull the holds, check them out, and call the patron to let them know their items are ready for pickup. Items will be held for 1 week from the date of the call.

Patrons can also call the library (862-9914), and if necessary, leave a message to place holds. Have your library card ready as we will not be accepting names. We will pull the items if they are available, check them out, call the patron and hold the items t for one week.

Whitefish Library staff want to do everything possible to provide service to our library patrons. It is our sincere hope that everyone will stay safe and healthy.
